Truvy, the sharp-tongued and witty salon owner, dishes out both style and sage advice with the help of her new assistant, Annelle, who’s still figuring out her marital status. The salon’s regulars include Ouiser, the town’s grumpy curmudgeon; Miss Clairee, a quirky millionaire with a sweet tooth; and M’Lynn, the local socialite whose daughter, Shelby, is about to marry the quintessential “good ole boy.”
