OPERA HOUSE ARSON

Opera House Arson (OHA) came together in the Summer Of 2019 in Aspen, CO to evolve the new genus of heavy rock, grown from roots in blues, funk, & soul! After dancing around the idea for years, Garland Burton and Mark Nussmeier (Vocals & Guitars) found kindred spirits in Kyle Light (Drums) and Mike Foley (Bass) to pursue the project, known as Opera House Arson

In Saturday’s performance, OHA is playing an ambitious mix of originals with distorted guitars, monstrous drums, and swooning vocals. Which will be recorded live at Belly Up!

FEATURING 8TH STREET BUS STOP

On the eve of the Pandemic, at the last Open Mic Night of the Red Onion – 8th St Bus Stop was born.

Starting as a pop-up band busking and playing outdoors in Aspen Colorado, 8th St evolved into a musical journey of funk, rock, blues and dance-floor enthusiasm.

What started with two cousins and a Virginian quickly transformed into an Argentinian Asado. The group seeks to capture love, spontaneity and revelry through the musical zeitgeist of a small Mountain town.

They have indubitably amassed a strong local following across the bars and Boot Shops of Aspen. Stay tuned for new releases on Spotify and a tour of the Mamma’s where the band goes to visit all of their respective Mamma’s around the world.
