BOOGIES BUDDY RACE

Boogie’s Buddy Race is one of the most widely anticipated activities of the Fourth of July week in Aspen. The event includes a 5-mile, 5K, and a 1-mile Family and Canine run/walk. Start your Fourth of July off right with this family-friendly event that supports the Buddy Program’s four youth mentoring programs! Join us for our in-person race and support our amazing programs!

KIDS’ BIKE PARADE DECORATING
10 AM | PAEPCKE PARK
Join the kids 4th of July Bike Parade! Meet at Paepcke Park at 10 am on Monday, July 4. All you need is your bike and helmet. Decorations will be supplied. Remember all kids must have a helmet. At the end of the parade the kids will turn left onto Monarch and head to Wagner Park. No parents on bikes (walk with kids group). NO; scooters, razors, unicycles, dogs, or pets.

A tribute to Aspen – Embrace your red, white, & blue and express your stars & stripes as we celebrate America’s Independence Day. The parade will start at 11 am on Main Street. It will turn South onto Hunter Street, then West onto Cooper Avenue. The parade will continue West on Cooper Avenue to Galena Street. At Galena it heads North for 2 blocks before turning West onto Hopkins Avenue. The parade will continue South on Mill then West on Hyman Avenue.
CALLE ARTISTICA
10 AM – 2 PM | ASPEN ART MUSEUM
Calle Artistica will create cultural community programming that will inspire greater engagement and art making. This bilingual community event is part of our education vision. Calle Artistica will bring together local artists to offer a variety of hands-on arts projects. We will provide performance and interactive musicians, and provide delicious food offerings from our café chefs. The street in front of the museum, Hyman Avenue, will be closed off to traffic and open for learning, play, and artistic expression. Schools, non-profit organizations, and other community members will collaborate to create a memorable annual event filled with art projects and exciting and engaging instruction.

ASPEN SANTA FE BALLET FOLKLORICO

This unique community enrichment program, now in its 22nd year, is offered free of charge to students of all ages in public schools throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. The program has reached hundreds of children, using the vibrant Folkloric dances of Mexico as a tool to instill confidence and cultural pride in its students.
